The Nashville hot chicken joint King of the Coop is celebrating National Fried Chicken Tender Day on Saturday, July 27 by slinging $5 tender baskets to those who slide by from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

Before you start to sweat, you can grab the three jumbo tenders in either the Nashville Hot or Biddy Oil.

Each basket comes with the Coop’s crispy French fries, homemade King’s sauce, and house-made sweet heat pickles.

Other sides like their signature mac ’n’ cheese, jalapeño cheddar shush puppies and coleslaw can be snagged for an additional charge.

During the last $5 tender basket event, the restaurant sold over 1,500 tenders and are looking to break the record.

Heads up, this deal is not valid with phone or online orders.
