Land O' Lakes Winery to release wine brand this month

This month, Land O' Lakes Winery will celebrate one year in business with a party and the launch of its own wine brand. The new brand features co-owner Sue Hardy's personal favorite, Super Tuscan.

During the celebration between 1 and 10 p.m. March 26, the winery will showcase tours, a food truck and live music by KOR. Wine and gift giveaways — the opportunity to win an in-house wine-making experience included — will also be offered.

"We have had such an amazing time making wine and memories with the old and new friends in the Land O' Lakes community," said Hardy, who opened the winery with co-owner Corey Kempton, in a statement. "Our primary mission is to teach visitors to make their own wine."

In addition to guiding enthusiasts of all levels through the wine-making process, which takes about six weeks, the winery serves vino by the flight, glass or bottle.
