In Tampa Heights, Commune + Co.'s coffee and tea bar, Union, has gone and concocted another specialty drink with St. Petersburg-based Urban Canning Company.
As if the Coffee Cola wasn't delicious enough.
The new Piña Colatté premiered Sunday at Union's Heights Public Market home base, and it marks the latest collaboration for the duo inside Armature Works.
Worth ordering again and again (yes, really), the beverage begins with a nitro pour of Pressure Brew, the flagship product Commune + Co. launched in 2014. But what really sets the Piña Colatté off is the addition of pineapple, coconut, rum reduction, vanilla and coconut cream over ice.
The tropical, refreshing Piña Colatté tastes lighter than a regular piña colada, yet all of the classic flavors are there. The drink also arrives topped with an umbrella and squiggly straw, making it a most irresistible choice for summer — at $5.
From here on out, don't sip and stroll through Heights Public Market without one.
