In the spirit of Halloween, chefs from more than 20 local restaurants will return to carve pumpkins for a cause during the Epicurean Hotel's second Top Chef Pumpkin Fight.
Starting Wednesday, the chefs' completed creations will be displayed in the lobby of the hotel, and it's up to Tampa Bay residents to stop by and vote for their favorites before 5 p.m. Friday. A $5 donation, benefiting Feeding Tampa Bay, is suggested for each vote.
The winning chef will be announced at the Epicurean's Monster Splash pool party Friday evening, and one voter, selected in a random drawing, will also land lunch or dinner for two at each participating Tampa restaurant. Spots like Bella's Italian Cafe, Cask and Piquant are competing.
