On Sunday, Lolis Mexican Cravings revealed that its second location in Tampa is coming soon. Fans of the popular family-friendly restaurant — considered to be responsible for some of the best Mexican food in town — are understandably freaking out about the announcement, which was made on Facebook.

There's no word yet on an opening date, but, still, as one commenter put it: "Holy Lolis!!!"

Lolis No. 2 is planned for 10011 W. Hillsborough Ave., previously home to La Mansion de La Arepa, and shares the Colony Crossings plaza with businesses like PK's Play Zone & Grille. The new restaurant isn't far from the flagship location on Benjamin Road, either.

Sopes, tamales, tortas and quesadillas make up the straightforward Lolis menu, alongside tacos — which come dressed with a diner's choice from 11 proteins, including ribeye, fish, lengua and a vegetarian option. Agua frescas are also offered on the beverage side.

In addition to their influx of excitement, Lolis's loyal following wasn't shy about stating where they'd like to see additional locations take shape. Suggestions on the Facebook post above — with more than 300 likes, more than 70 comments and more than 80 shares — ranged from Land O' Lakes and Wesley Chapel to downtown St. Pete.
