At 11 a.m. Tuesday, Hofbräuhaus, downtown St. Pete's buzzed-about German beer hall and restaurant, will premiere in its 16,000-square-foot digs at 123 Fourth St. S.
Modeled after the original Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Germany, which is more than 400 years old, Hofbräuhaus St. Petersburg features seating upstairs and downstairs, a large bar and an outdoor beer garden.
The food menu is composed of authentic recipes for items like Bavarian sausages, spätzle and jägerschnitzel (pork cutlet with mushroom sauce), while the beer, both the year-round and seasonal varieties, is imported from Munich.
A rotating lineup of German musicians will provide the restaurant's live tunes daily as well.
