New Mediterranean restaurant Mio’s Grill & Cafe is now open in St. Pete

St. Pete is getting new eats nearly every week, and the latest concept on the scene is a Mediterranean restaurant, Mio's Grill & Cafe, located at 119 2nd St. N. 

Mio's opened its doors this month, taking over the former space of Meze 119, which closed last month. 

The fast-casual restaurant serves up Mediterranean fare as well as vegetarian options like soups, salads, hummus, gyros and falafel wraps. 

You can even satisfy your First Friday drunken munchies with the half-pound melted mozzarella cheeseburger with your choice of beer and wine to keep the buzz going. 

Hours for Mio's are Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-3 a.m.
