The Walt Disney Company’s iconic Mickey Mouse character made his big-screen debut in November 1928. To celebrate his 90-year run, Tampa coffee and tea purveyor Joffrey’s has teamed up with Disney to launch Disney Mickey’s 90th Anniversary Blend, a new specialty java.
Earlier this month, limited-edition bags of the smooth medium roast were released online and in select supermarkets nationwide.
But the Anniversary Blend isn’t the only addition to Joffrey’s lineup of products in the grocery coffee category. Caffeine lovers — and hardcore fans of the theme parks — can also start brewing two other co-branded Disney roasts that recently rolled out at home: Disney Organic Peru Alto Mayo and Disney French Bistro.
Previously exclusive to Walt Disney World Resort guests in Orlando, French Bistro is a full-bodied dark blend, while Organic Peru Alto Mayo is a fair-trade coffee sustainably farmed in a protected area of San Martin within the Amazon rainforest.
“The Disney Specialty Coffee Collection is enjoyed by many guests and enthusiasts who want to taste a special part of the Disney experience in the comfort of their own home,” said Joffrey’s CEO Ted Abrams in a statement. “We have heard from customers looking for our Disney coffees at their local grocery store and we are excited to finally be able to offer and make these coffees available to them at select grocery stores nationwide.”
Founded in 1984, Joffrey’s is the official specialty coffee of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Vacation Club and Disneyland Resort.
