Miller Lite’s new ‘Offline Can’ is now available for free in Tampa, but you have to put down your phone

Officially dubbed the “Miller Lite Offline Can,” the beer is part of the company’s “Original Social Media” campaign from last October.

Since the whole concept of “Miller Time” is all about crackin’ cold ones with your buds in real life and not racking up “likes” on TikTok, the beer company is now giving away a limited edition dark can to Tampa residents willing to go offline.

Officially dubbed the “Miller Lite Offline Can,” the beer is part of the company’s “Original Social Media” campaign from last October, and is essentially no different than any other 96 calorie Miller Lite –except it’s black and it’s only available in 500 bars in select cities, including Tampa.

To score one, head to a participating bar and scan the QR code on the branded table tent, put your phone down for 30 minutes, and the beer is yours. However, if you refuse to put your phone down, you can also just buy the can, but that’s not what “Miller Time” is all about.

CL reached out to Miller Lite for a list of bars with the "Offline Can," but the company said they could not disclose the locations.
