MOSI rolls out its Festival of Chocolate to revive your dreams of being a kid in a candy store. In its fourth year, the three-day event runs from Jan. 18 to Jan. 20 and is the largest of its kind in Florida. Indulge in goodies from confectioners and bakeries, or attend demos that range from the practical to the utterly impressive — the towering cake designs are beyond comprehension.

On Saturday, a Cocoa Couture Fashion Show will have you wondering, “How did they make that?” Plus, wine and chocolate pairings and good old-fashioned eating competitions will be featured too.

Local vendors include Joey Biscotti, Kandi Krums, Mikey's Custom Creations Cafe and Bakery, Ohh la la Crepes, Schakolad Chocolate Factory, Stefano's Gelato, Sweet Tweets, Tampa's Chocolate Delight, The Original Leena's Chocolates, Tres Suspiros, The Sweet Spot and Viktoria Richards Chocolates.

New this year: The Great American Candy Run, a sweet and tasty obstacle course, on Monday, Jan. 20, that starts at 10 a.m., and continues throughout the day. Space is limited, so it’s best to register in advance.

Jan. 18-20 at the Museum of Science and Industry, Tampa. $21.95 for adult's, $17.95 for children and $10 for members. To purchase tickets to MOSI for The Festival of Chocolate and The Great American Candy Run, visit festivalofchocolate.com
