The restaurant is set to have second-level indoor dining, as well as an outdoor patio dining overlooking Tampa Bay stationed at 4900 Bridge St., Tampa.
BTI Partners, a South Florida developer, just sold 1.6 acres at the district's entrance to D&G WMD LLC to start making way for Paloma, according to the TBBJ. D&G WMD LLC has paired with local restaurateurs Scott and Karina Tashkin (The Getaway) to own and operate Paloma, which will have a more elevated menu and atmosphere than other Tampa Bay boat-up eateries like Hula Bay, Salt Shack on the Bay, and The Getaway.
“Whether you decide to arrive by car, boat or just a nice walk, you’ll feel a sense of relaxed sophistication with its unique architectural design and coastal flair,” the Tashkins said in an official statement. “Paloma offers an entirely new dining experience to Tampa with an elevated marina view dining room, waterfront bar and pavilion for sunset drinks and second level patio for private special events.”
Start talking to that boat-owning distant friend now, so in the future you can arrive at Paloma’s grand opening in style.
More details to come as construction continues and an official opening date is announced.
