On Monday, Taps Restaurant Bar & Lounge's authentic American brasserie concept opened its doors to Bay Street at Tampa's International Plaza.

The new upscale eatery — launching as the fifth location and first brasserie-style restaurant for Taps owner James DeVito — operates 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday to Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Serving classic dishes with a modern spin, executive chef Jason Dame's bill of fare, which is different from other Taps menus around the state, includes entrees like cauliflower and portobello tacos and short rib ragu. Signature items like the tuna crudo are also showcased.
