Seafood restaurant Happy Crab has recently opened in the strip mall west of Walgreens close to Hillsborough Avenue and 22nd Street.

The menu has “make your own seafood combos” with choices including shrimp, snow crab, king crab, crawfish, clams, mussels and sausage. The combinations include corn and potatoes and range in price depending on which seafood you choose. There are also seafood boil lunch specials. Day or night, you can choose seasoning including cajun or buttery garlic and your heat level, from no spice to fire. The restaurant also has non-seafood options including chicken wings, fried rice and fried cheese sticks.

A Happy Crab employee told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the restaurant—technically located at 2115 E Hillsborough Ave. no. 3 in Tampa at the old Smoke Chef vape store—mainly offers takeout, but there are three tables available for dine in.They own no other restaurants.
