Closing, schmosing. Seminole Heights' 6-year-old Reservations Gourmet-To-Go isn't going anywhere. But it is starting a new chapter.

Co-owner and chef Anthony Catania, who spoke to CL last month when news of the restaurant's closing surfaced, announced master sushi chef Hisashi Shimazaki, or Shima, and executive chef Philip Hutchenson, Phil, as Reservations' new operating partners.

"These fine men will make it possible for Reservations to become all that we had hoped," Catania said in an email.

According to Catania, Shimazaki, with 30 years of cooking experience, focuses on Asian and world cuisine, while Hutchenson, who ran the kitchen at Miami's upscale Viceroy hotel, specializes in seafood, vegetarian and classic eats.

"They both (like myself)," Catania wrote, "Are mainly interested in making food as delicious as possible."

Although Catania and co-owner, and wife, Elke Catania are moving to Asheville, North Carolina, to be closer to family, Anthony said he will stay with Reservations as a consultant, developing new events, dishes and projects.

The food "you have already come to love" will remain, he said, but new menu offerings will be introduced.
