Time to slide to the latest dinner concept in Tampa Heights.
Rocca, located at 323 W. Palm Ave. on the ground level of The Pearl condo building, is an Italian concept that serves dishes from scratch as well as views of the Tampa skyline.
A quick recap of the menu includes fresh pasta dishes like the tagliatelle al ragu (beef ragu, garlic, basil and topped with a 24-month parmigiano whose lifespan is longer than the average fling in Tampa Bay). Starters include bites like soft cheese, calamari and carpaccio alongside garden salads and a meat selection ranging from dry-aged steak and pork rib chops to fish and chicken dishes.
Whether you're going for dinner or sliding in for a drink and dessert for a romantic nightcap, Rocca is ready to offer up cozy mood lighting as Tampa Heights' new upscale dining concept. Cocktails, mocktails and a hefty wine list are ready to be poured upon seating, it just might take a few minutes to choose from the wide selection.
Being that Rocca is the new kid on the block, booking a reservation may be a solid move to avoid a wait; future diners can book through resy.com. Hours are 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, 5-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Rocca is closed on Monday.
