New Mexican bar, grill launches in New Tampa

New Tampa saw the opening of a fresh Mexican restaurant, Cantina Mexican Grill & Bar.

At 10032 Cross Creek Blvd., Cantina Mexican Grill & Bar is Tampa's latest spot for favorites like churros, carne asada and fish tacos.

The stylish New Tampa restaurant, housed inside the Cross Creek Center complex, offers dining room and bar seating along with its large bill of fare. Other dishes include fajita burrito and quesedilla mashups, a veggie chimichanga, enchiladas rancheras, and a shrimp and scallop Yucateco plate.

Cantina operates 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
