Chef Rui Borges brings Portugal to Tampa Bay with his new Portuguese restaurant Fado, the sister concept to his Lisbon restaurant in Orlando. Fado joins other area restaurants like Renzo’s, Amore Restaurant, and Spain Restaurant and Toma Bar.

“Fado is a Portuguese restaurant serving authentic cuisine at its very best,” says the website. “We serve fresh fish and seafood alongside a vast selection of Bacalhau (salted cod) and meat dishes.”

I Love the Burg said guests can enjoy some of Lisbon’s menu items at Fado also. Menu selections include Pastéis de Bacalhau, Bife à Portuguesa (Portuguese steak), and Serradura for dessert.

Fado is currently hiring for all positions. If interested, hit them up on Facebook to apply.

Fado sits at 435 5th Ave. N. in St. Pete. Reserve a spot during their regular hours Wednesday-Thursday 5 p.m.-10 p.m., Friday-Saturday noon-11 p.m., and Sunday noon-10 p.m.
