A few weeks ago The Karol Hotel opened its K Club Bar and Bistro—an American eatery with handcrafted cocktails. This weekend, its boozier sibling, the Vantage Rooftop Bar, opens, providing guests with a 12-story-high view of the Tampa skyline (less than 20 miles as the crow flies.)
The Karol Hotel’s new rooftop bar—located above 2675 Ulmerton Rd. in Clearwater—officially celebrates its grand opening this Friday, March 6. Alongside its handcrafted cocktails like the Elegant Refresher—which consists of Wheatley vodka, elderflower, lime, basil and cucumber—Vantage also serves local craft beer, wine, and spirits. It also has a menu of small bites like warm pretzels, smoked chicken wings, black bean hummus, and deviled crab croquettes.
Vantage also has a chic bar indoor bar, but you can take your drink to the various lounges and seats that are scattered throughout the rooftop of The Karol Hotel. This new Clearwater hotspot is climate-controlled, so when Florida is cold three weeks out of the year, you can still sip at the Vantage Rooftop Bar without being too chilly.
After its grand opening this weekend, The Vantage Bar will be open from 4 p.m.-11 p.m. Mon.-Thu., 4 p.m.-midnight on Fri., 11 a.m.-midnight on Sat. and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sun.
