David Fischer, owner of St. Pete’s The Saints speakeasy and interior design firm Zazoo’d, is opening a new bar called “Cocktail” in St. Pete’s Grand Central District named Cocktail St. Pete.

I Love the Burg said the bar will be located at 2355 Central Ave. near indoor/outdoor bar Grand Central Brewhouse and Sophia’s Cucina + Enoteca (pictured above)

On Facebook, the spot is described as a gay bar, and online its tagline promises stiff drinks, hard liquor and raging good times.

Photo renderings of the bar show ample indoor and outdoor seating for customers to enjoy themselves at a safe distance. Future plans detail a pool bar in the back like H2O Bar at the Hollander Hotel.

An opening date is TBD. A Facebook post from January tells followers to “stay tuned and follow along”.

According to the website, hours of operation will be Tuesday-Sunday noon-3 a.m.
