Since the dawn of COVID-19, many restaurants have been paying more attention to their takeout services. Whether it be launching a ghost kitchen (Quatro/Chicky Chicky Bang Bang), or opting for localized delivery services like Pineapple Pickup, the food scene looks more different than ever before. A newbie to the growing restaurant landscape is Two Dads located in Gulfport. The concept operates as a fast-casual drive-thru specializing in meals to go, and is owned by chef Wade Parrish (who also owns O'Maddy's) alongside Ryan Bernat—and it looks like the duo has cracked a COVID-19 safe business plan.

Located at 5133 Gulfport Blvd. S, the concept is cooking up gourmet home-style dishes which can be ordered online (twodadstakeout.com) or in-person. You can expect to find eats like a Philly-style slow-roasted beef strip loin sandwich, macaroni and cheese topped with bacon bits pictured above), meatloaf with tomato jam, and a pork belly bahn mi.

According to local blog, I Love The Burg, vegan options are set to be added to the menu in the near future.

While the restaurant did have its soft opening last week, the joint won't be operating regular hours until Tuesday, Feb. 2. Hours for Two Dads are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday.
