
With the calendar switch comes a fresh lineup of intimate, wine-matched meals at Council Oak Steaks & Seafood. Located inside Tampa-based Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the elegant restaurant’s annual Winemaker Dinner Series is part cocktail reception, part four-course feast, and part wine pairing — with each thoughtful pour spotlighting a featured winery.
Hosted every month (though additional events are planned throughout the year), the series kicks off Jan. 18 with wines from California’s Ferrari-Carano and plates like local hog snapper tiradito, Anjou pear sorbet, oven-roasted Cornish game hen, and Peruvian dark chocolate gâteau.
Side note: Council Oak preps for dinner in an open-kitchen format. That way, attendees can catch the culinary crew in action.
The ticket price for January is $179. Guests are encouraged to call the Hard Rock’s customer care line (that’s 813-627-6630) for reservations, as seating is limited.
