Downtown Largo's annual Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade, with more than 25 marching organizations, kicked off at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Presented by the Greater Largo Merchants Association, the parade travels south from the corner of First Avenue Southwest and Fourth Street Southwest, ending behind Ulmer Park at First Avenue Southwest.

Unlike previous years, Ulmer Park is showcasing a Generation Food Truck festival during and after the march 'til 2 p.m., where paradegoers may score grub and beverages from 13 mobile kitchens like Lolo Ono Hawaiian Shave Ice, PAO Truck, Krepelicious and Crankies.

Some of the participating food trucks, including The Hungry Monkey, Pitas on the Run and Ninja Noms, plan to migrate to the Madeira Beach Sunset Market & Food Truck Rally from 4 to 9 later in the day.

Along Madeira Way, 10 restaurants-on-wheels will be highlighted between Gulf Boulevard and the Tom Stuart Causeway.

The free holiday event will also feature other local vendors, a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus and a rouge gift treasure hunt.
