From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, the free and outdoor Fall Harvest Festival will mix food, music and art at Brooksville's Olive Grove, an organic olive orchard with 200-plus olive trees.

In addition to features like olives by the pound and specials on olive trees, the festival will provide bowls of fresh, hot gumbo, served up by Bill Wharton, known as The Sauce Boss, free of charge.

The family- and pup-friendly event also encourages guests to bring coolers and lawn chairs to watch Wharton and others perform songs on the Grove's stage. While the De Le'ied Parrots Troc-Rock Duo plans to kickstart the music, tunes from Generation Gap will bring the fest to a close.

And don't miss the classes being offered throughout the day, either.

Two workshops are set to teach the art of curing olives between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., while another, focused on ancient-style clay olive oil lamps, will be hosted at 5 p.m. Each $10 session includes complimentary olives and supplies.
