Damn, one of the greats will be shutting its doors for good after service on Thursday, August 29. CDB's Pizza and Italian Restaurant, located at 5104 East Fowler Avenue in Temple Terrace near USF is being forced into the closure. In an interview with BN9, restaurant owners blamed the closing on a legal dispute with the property owner.

"We're not doing this because we want to, we're doing this because this is something that we have to do," said CDB's Pizza and Italian Restaurant partner Brandon Byers. All restaurant tables and signs will be sold at auction in the near future.

For over four decades, the pizzeria has been a mecca for USF students and locals looking for a fat slice of 'za and beer for a deal.

Slide by to get your last bites in before the doors are locked for good. Remaining hours for the joint are 11 a.m.- 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
