From 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, an evening of friendly competition, coffee, and meet and greets with a premier barista will welcome folks in the vicinity of Tampa's Oxford Exchange.
Presented by Nuova Simonelli and Buddy Brew Coffee, which operates a coffee bar inside Oxford Exchange, this Barista Jam & Latte Art Throwdown will highlight competitors from around the state. Pete Licata, the 2013 World Barista Champion, will also serve as emcee.
A panel of three local judges will determine the battle's first, second and third place winners as guests enjoy light bites and a cash bar.
While the event is free and open to the public, spectators should RSVP online.
