The wait is over, and now Tampa Bay can get its hands on that award-winning Guthrie's fried chicken.
The latest Guthrie's has made its debut at 5224 S. Dale Mabry Hwy. in Tampa. The Tampa Bay location kept its opening date on the down-low until Sunday when it went to Facebook and wrote, "Join us tomorrow at our Guthrie’s of Tampa Bay Grand Opening! Come out and eat some #chickenfingers! Doors open @ 10:30! See you there!"
Now locals can get a taste of those golden chicken tenders, which can be ordered in a box (with fries, slaw and toast), on a sandwich, and even in a freaking bucket. Oh, and don't forget about the sweet tea.
The southern fried chicken chain is ready to thicken Tampa Bay up just in time for cuffing season.
If this location runs the same hours as its fellow sunshine state locations, we can expect access to these golden delights until well after midnight. Fingers crossed.
