Now's your chance to do it without making a massive dent in your bank account. On Friday, November 22, from 6 p.m.-midnight, the upscale bar is hosting a grand opening reception to reveal the "Dram" side of Flute & Dram, which is "influenced by whiskey, cigars and live music."
Whiskey and champagne tastings, plus complimentary samples of the food menu (think caviar, shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon canapés and beef Wellington) happen from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. or while supplies last. F&D is also hosting a raffle to win a $200 VIP membership, which gets members a free bottle of champagne, priority invites to tasting and events, 15% of all tabs, and the ability to have a private party for 8-10 people annually.
Tunes will be provided by The New Blue Note Generation and acclaimed Bay area organist Shawn Brown. Arrive early to get in on ample complimentary food and drink samples, and RSVP for your low budget date night through Flute & Dram's Facebook event page.
Hours at Flute & Dram are 4 p.m.-midnight Monday-Wednesday, 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Thursday and Friday, noon-2 a.m. Saturday, and noon-midnight Sunday. The bar is located at 234 Beach Dr. NE., with street parking available.
