Tampa’s Hyde Park is getting its newest American eatery, bar, and cafe when Willa’s restaurant and sister cafe Willa’s Provisions open in early 2020.

Willa’s and Willa’s Provisions will operate under the same owners and share a building, but are two different entities with different food and drinks offerings. Willa’s is a neighborhood bar and restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while Willa’s Provisions is a 12-seat cafe that will serve locally roasted King State Coffee, pastries, and pick-up fare like tacos and toasts during the day.

In the evening, Willa's Provisions will become an Aperitivo bar (a fancy word for alcohol) with light bites. This sister cafe will be located at the front of the building, while Willa’s the restaurant resides in the back.

This casual eatery concept is the brainchild of Tampa natives Nate Siegel and Merrin Jenkins who are currently preparing to open Willa’s in a 4700-square-foot, century-old industrial warehouse in West Tampa. Nate Siegel is a seasoned restaurateur and former VP of New American Tampa restaurant Mise en Place

Although an early 2020 grand opening date has not yet been released, swing by Willa’s at 1700 West Fig St. in Tampa to check up on development.
