Beans & Barlour, the shop known for boozy desserts, is expanding with a new St. Petersburg location inside of Tropicana Field.
Beans & Barlour has been creating alcohol-infused ice cream, spirited floats and sundaes, espresso drinks and teas since opening its doors in the summer of 2018. The concept took to Instagram to announce the new location within Tropicana Field: "Have you heard the news?! Tropicana Field will be the new home to boozy milkshakes and floats for the coming Rays Baseball season!"
The Ray's season kicks off on March 26 with a game against the Pittsburg Pirates, and a rep for Beans & Barlour told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that an entirely new menu has been crafted for the Trop.
"Almost everything will have the option to be made vegan and we’re releasing our newest vegan soft serve, Trop Whip,” the rep wrote. "We’re [also] doing a boozy (and non boozy) peanuts and Cracker Jack milkshake as well as boozy Tropicana floats."
Could these new boozy shakes will up game attendance? We'll see.
Until then, you can get buzzed off of Beans & Barlour's desserts on the regular at the OG location at 538 1st Ave. N. in the 'Burg next door to St. Pete Brewing Co.
