Urban Stillhouse, which was slated to open last December, has finally cut the ribbon on its 16,000-square-foot restaurant bar and event space in St. Petersburg.

Located at 2232 5th Ave. S. in the Warehouse Arts District, the concept is decorated with leather sofas, wood-burning grills, copper stills, and an intense bourbon library. Sounds like an upscale date night or family outing.

Boasting two full-service bars, can choose between signature Horse Soldier bourbon flights, seasonal craft cocktails as well as wine and local craft brews.

The Tampa Bay Times says the bourbon will be made at Horse Soldier’s Ohio-based distillery, but that Urban Stillhouse will run a small, for-on-site-consumption-only, distilling operation that’ll make rum, vodka and gin to be used in house cocktails.

The concept offers dinner service on weekdays, and brunch on the weekends.

Snacks on the main menu include artichoke hearts, deviled crab stuffed eggs, and veal meatballs. Fat dishes from both land and sea make up the mains (grilled Maien lobster, Colorado lamb chops, and a 22-ounce dry-aged cowboy ribeye served with crispy oysters, baby zucchini and black truffle butter), while other options include ricotta gnocchi, broiled gulf oysters and chicken wings.

When it comes to brunch eats, you can snag classics like eggs Benedict and buttermilk waffles, or heartier bites like black grouper or chicken breast sandos. There’s also an insane line-up of cocktails like “Death in the Afternoon,” “Hair of the Dog,” “Rosemary’s Bae” and the “Daddy’s Credit Card” made with vodka, lemon, strawberry peppercorn syrup, vermouth and brut rosé.

Just a heads up, due to COVID-19, Urban Stillhouse is only taking guests with reservations made by phone (727-440-8040) or via theurbanstillhouse.com.

Hours for the new concept are 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
