Coming in hot for Labor Day, Wicked Oak Barbecue will have its big debut in Seminole Heights on one of the biggest barbecue holidays of the year.
Opening Monday, Sept. 7, the new joint is located right next door to King of the Coop at 6607 N. Florida Ave.
Wicked Oak Barbecue made the big announcement in a Facebook post, pointing out that it won’t typically be open on Monday’s, but that it will make an exception given the circumstances.
“We are SO excited to see y’all and get you that good barbeque,” said the post. “The menu will be posted within the next few days.”
In a previous CL post, owner Felix “Bubba” Flores hinted that the menu will consist of “signature eats like loaded mac and cheese, BBQ fries and nachos, pulled chicken and pork sandos as well as house made sauces.”
