OpenTable didn't list Tampa Bay restaurants among America's 100 best

Can we demand a recount?

OpenTable has named the top 100 eateries across the country, and apparently, there aren't any in Tampa Bay.

The popular online reservation service even snubbed the 'villes: Asheville, Nashville and Louisville. Can we demand a recount?

OpenTable used more than 12 million verified diner reviews of 28,000-plus food spots to compile its annual list of the 100 Best Restaurants in America for 2018. According to the service, the chosen establishments range from wallet-friendly to high-end.

Outside of the Bay area, Florida secured four winners thanks to Buccan (Palm Beach), Bull & Bear (Orlando), La Nouvelle Maison (Boca Raton) and KYU (Miami).

They're not local restaurants, no. But, hey, maybe their culinary nods should still count for something.
