After a little over a year in business in St. Pete, Pacific Counter is set to launch a second location in Lakewood Ranch, which is set to open in April 2020.
We know what you're thinking, another poke spot? In the last three months we've reported on at least five new poke spots popping up around Tampa Bay. Seems like Pacific Counter isn't worried about the competition.
The fast-casual restaurant cranks out create-your-own sushi burritos and poke bowls. Not that imaginative and want PC to assemble something for you? The 'Counter Creations' section of the menu includes chef-inspired bowls like The O.G. filled with tuna, avocado, edamame, greens, shredded nori, onion, topped with sesame seeds and poke classic sauce. Bowl and burrito prices begin at $8 and vary depending on your extra toppings. Sides like edamame and miso soup range from $3. You can also sup on juice, tea, Mother Kombucha, beer, sake (served as a frozen sake bomb or a slush) or Frostee Kirin. It wouldn't be a poke joint without dole whip; grab a cup($2.50) or a float($5) to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Want a taste of what Pacific Counter has to offer before the second location makes its debut? Visit the OG location at 660 Central Ave. in St. Pete. Hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday.
More details to come when an official opening date is announced.
UPDATED 12/8/19 to reflect revised opening date and bowl prices.
