On Friday, Sept. 26, to Sunday, Sept. 28, regionites will get crackin' at the first Palm Harbor Lobster Festival hosted at the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary.

The festivities run from noon to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

In addition to Maine lobster offerings and after-hours access to the sanctuary, the three-day fest's opening night will showcase all-you-can-eat helpings of the crustacean from 6 to 7:30.

Live entertainment will be featured alongside beer and wine purveyors, artisan booths and business vendors, too.

While general admission for all three days costs $10, $65 VIP tickets provide festivalgoers access to general admission benefits and the all-you-can-eat lobster dinner.

The lobster fest will benefit the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary.
