Clearwater’s Pie Five Pizza has expanded into shareable 14-inch pizzas — just in time for its one-year anniversary. Part of the Dallas-based franchise known for its customized personal pies, the fast-casual pizzeria’s new (and permanent) additions to the menu start rolling out this week.

The 14-inch pie is a game changer because it furthers the Pie Five take on build-your-own pizza, which guests tailor to their liking with more than 40 unlimited toppings, seven sauces and three crusts, among them gluten-free and cauliflower variations.

Serving as Tampa Bay’s first and only location (well, OK, for now), Pie Five opened at the Clearwater Mall — with the longer name of Pie Five Pizza Co. — in July 2017. The franchise operates other Florida locations in Estero and Coral Springs.
