This one slipped by, but Tampa Bay craft beer bar chain Brass Tap closed it’s Tyrone Square Mall location last month, but you can still virtually tip the bar and restaurant’s staff here.

The franchise’s Carrollwood, Wesley Chapel’s Wiregrass, and close-to-Midtown locations are still open.  Besides loads of craft beer, local and otherwise, all locations have a full menu  of elevated bar food grub including Korean barbecue pork sliders and sirloin nachos.

Last year, FSC Franchise Co. CEO Chris Elliotin told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the Midtown-ish locale—the company’s latest—is a "Brass Tap 3.0" with new craft cocktails and wine on draft. The Shops of Wiregrass spot was the first to open in 2007.

Tyrone Square was the only Pinellas Brass Tap, first opening in 2016 with a February grand opening celebration. This closing comes after the closing of the company’s  Brandon restaurant in 2019.

For those of you still shopping in person, Tyrone Square Mall still has plenty of food and drink options including the chains Bonefish Grill and every dad’s favorite—Hooters.
