Another poke joint is getting ready to make its debut in Tampa Bay, but this one we've been patiently waiting for since last May.

That's right, Atlanta hotspot, Poke Burri, is finally opening at 4038 W Kennedy Blvd. Initially slated for a September 2019 debut, PB took to social media to announce that the sushi pizza and poke bowls will be served on Monday, February 3.

In a previous interview co-owner Seven Chan told CL that the rapidly growing concept knew Tampa Bay would be a perfect fit for the brand, “Tampa is a great city. It’s been transitioning into a more foodie-friendly city with an amazing food culture. We really wanted to be a big part of it.”

The restaurant will give Tampa a taste of its signature bowls like Tangy Crab & Shrimp or Spicy Tuna Kimchee, burrito rolls, and finger foods. Build-your-own bowls, salads, dumplings, and jalapeño poppers are also up for grabs.

We're suckers for secret menus, and Poke Burri is feeding that addiction by randomly announcing items on their social media pages with options including sushi donuts, sushi pizza, tempura fried bacon, and fried ramen. Other than its creative menu, another way Poke Burri is setting itself apart from the competition is by pouring up beer, wine, and sake.

The full-service restaurant will be offering lunch and dinner. Although PB usually runs five days a week, Chan is considering giving Tampans their sushi fix six or seven days a week.

More details to come as official operating hours are announced and the opening date approaches.
