On Saturday, hop from one St. Petersburg EDGE District business to another while collecting cards during the district's first Poker Crawl.

Lasting from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Poker Crawl is based off popular poker runs, where players retrieve a card at participating checkpoints and aim to craft the best poker hand.

Participants, who must be at least 18 years old, need to collect five cards to make a hand. However, they may visit as many businesses as desired to increase their chances of building a better hand.

Players may not submit more than one entry, and are allowed one card per business.

Along with a poker card, participants will get a special sale or offer, such as two-for-one drinks, from places they stop by if a $5 Fun Card is purchased from Creative Clay at check-in. An entry form, instructions on how to play and a map will also be distributed at check-in. Fun Card sales will benefit the district's Main Street Program.

Children are able to get in on the festivities, too. From noon to 3, Creative Clay will host kid-friendly activities like making playing cards (for keeps or trades) and assembling a collaborative house of cards.

Green Bench Brewing Co. will announce the Poker Crawl winners at 8, so participants must submit their hands to the brewery before 7:30. Players don't need to make a purchase or be present to win.
