Back in May, it was discovered that Filipino fast-food restaurant Jollibee was opening a location in Tampa Bay. The chain is set to make its debut this Friday, January 17 at 9 a.m.

According to a release, the Pinellas store marks Jollibee’s 40th location to open in the U.S., and for that, we are thankful.

No more road trips to Jacksonville to get your Chickenjoy fix. Other signature dishes locals can look forward to are the Jolly Spaghetti, Palabok Fiesta and Peach Mango Pie.

The hype has been real for Chickenjoy to be served at 4057 Park Blvd N. in Pinellas Park, and Jollibee is ready to award us for our patience.

Because this is such a hype beast, Jollibee knows how to throw an opening party hosting an advance tasting of its menu for 50 lucky fans on Thursday, January 16. The catch is, you have to win one of these 50 spots by jumping on Jollibee USA’s Facebook to enter.

Can't get involved with the pregame eats but itching for the official opening? On opening day Jollibee will award one year's supply of Chickenjoy to the first 50 people in line who make a purchase of $25 or more worth of food.

If that isn't enough, Jollibee plans on awarding the coveted Jollibee in Special Barong Tagalog (the national formal attire of the Philippines) Funko Pop! figures to the first 50 customers in line carrying the most unique banners or posters with the hashtag, #ItsOurTurn. Jollibee will award drawstring bags to the first 300 customers on opening day, then to the first 100 customers on the second and third days of business, with a $25 purchase.
