With about 1.8 million Americans suffering from peanut allergies, the U.S. Transportation Department is once again considering a ban on peanuts being served during commercial airline flights.
The U.S. Transportation Department issued an 84-page proposal last week with ideas that included an outright ban on the snack to having "peanut free zones" on flights for allergic passengers.
