Move over Auntie Anne’s, there’s a new pretzel boss in town.

The Pretzelhaus recently opened in a massive strip mall at 14351 N Dale Mabry Hwy. in Tampa—nestled between Kobé Japanese Steakhouse, Crafty Crab and dessert cafe Wonder Waffel.

In addition to the expected soft twist pretzels and universally-loved pretzel glizzies, are unique creations like its cheesy jalapeno pretzel nugget platter and Pretzelhaus’ own rendition of a Cuban sandwich.

Other mouthwatering options include the giant one-pound pretzel, as well as a variety of stuffed pretzels with savory flavors like roast beef, Buffalo chicken, cheesy pepperoni, and bacon cheeseburger alongside sweet options like chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and apple pie-stuffed handheld pretzels.

And because this fast casual spot opened just a few weeks ago, its menu will soon grow to offer a wider variety of soups and salads,  other pretzel-forward eats, and a selection of craft beer and wine.

Carollwood’s new Pretzelhaus is now open from 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, and is closed Sundays and Mondays. Its website states that a Palm Harbor location is in the works, although no opening date or location has been announced.

The folks behind Tampa’s newest go-to spot are veterans in the pretzel business, as Suzy and Nick Agostino have operated New Port Richey’s Penguin Pretzels for about a decade. Their other business is open at  4238 St. Lawrence Dr. and focuses more-so on wholesale orders, versus Pretzelhaus’ full-service menu. And for more mouthwatering pretzel photos follow its Instagram page at @thepretzelhausfl and Facebook at @PretzelhausCarrollwood.

The pretzel-themed concept is also hiring for kitchen staff, servers, bakers and managers, as inquiries for an application can be found at the bottom of its website
