Specializing in raw vegan plates, the laid-back but elegant Cider Press Café opened its doors Monday afternoon at 601 Central Ave. in downtown St. Pete.
The gourmet café established its flagship Naples location in 2014, and classifies its food as "Florida-inspired, plant-based, modernist cuisine."
Items like mock chicken and tuna salad sandwiches, dry-rubed portobello riblets with blueberry barbecue dipping sauce and chipotle enchiladas are served, as the drink offerings range from wines to kombucha to house lemonades.
