The huge expansion project at downtown St. Pete's Rococo Steak, whose building was originally constructed in 1926, has completed. Now 14,000 square feet, the fine-dining destination features 50 new seats, a modern wood barrel ceiling that pays tribute to winemaking and 3,000 more bottles in the climate-controlled wine room.

Another change at Rococo comes from the new head of culinary operations, chef Matthew Rainey. Last year, Rainey, who previously served as executive chef at STK Atlanta, was awarded the Best New Chef title by Jezebel magazine.

"Food and wine are our passions," said Joe Orsino, CEO of Caledon Concepts, which owns Rococo. "The addition of Chef Rainey further enhances Rococo Steak's already celebrated menu offerings, and the new wine-focused dining room allows us to showcase our commitment to the wine-food relationship."
