A rustic-refined bar and grill called Salt Shack on the Bay is taking shape in Tampa. Reeled in from local waters, freshly caught fish and seafood drive the menu of the new restaurant, located at 5415 W. Tyson Ave.

Seasonal cuisine and tropical cocktails are other planned highlights.

Billed as a beach getaway, Salt Shack has targeted an opening on the waterfront Rattlesnake Point sometime in spring 2019. The restaurant frequently uses the #gulftotable hashtag on social media, which is a good sign for fans of Florida's underwater bounty.
