Second location from Trinity Cafe holds opening celebration

Trinity Cafe's second nonprofit Tampa location will host its grand opening celebration this week.

Teaming up with the First Church of God, Trinity Cafe 2 plans to begin offering three-course meals in the memorial hall of the church at 2202 E. Busch Blvd. in mid-late April. The flagship cafe will prepare each meal, then transport them to the new location.

The opening celebration and ribbon cutting for Trinity Cafe 2 will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday. The cafe's launch, made possible by donors and grants from the Bank of America Neighborhood Builders award and Hillsborough County, will allow for twice as many meals to be served daily.
