Shop for a cause at Whole Foods' Charitable Giving Day: Art exhibit, free wine tasting & more - Tuesday, January 11

There will also be a complimentary wine tasting in the wine department from 6-8 p.m., and cooking demos held in the café from 12-8 p.m. The wines served will include: Decero Cabernet Sauvignon, Decero Malbec, Errazuriz Wild Ferment Chardonnay and Errazuriz Don Maximino Vineyard Carmenere. These are free and open to the public.


The money raised during this event will help provide employment training and job placement services to the people at the MacDonald Training Center so they may gain competitive employment and live independent lives.

On Tuesday, January 11, the Whole Foods Market in Tampa will donate 5% of the day’s net sales to MacDonald Training Center, a Tampa Bay non-profit organization that empowers people with disabilities to live the lives they choose.

In addition to donating 5% of all sales made that day to the MacDonald Training Center, patrons will be able to view, and even purchase, paintings, sculptures and other works of art during the MacDonald Training Center Art Show, which will take place in the café from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. All of the artwork that will be on display was created by people with disabilities that attend the MacDonald Training Center.
