Yuengling Beer Company has scheduled a rezoning hearing on September 12th to discuss a themed hotel at 11111 N. 30th Street in Tampa. The hotel would be next door to the main brewery, near the University of South Florida.

The markups lay out a plan includes all things a hotel would typically host: 200 hotel rooms, a restaurant, and a 5,900-square-foot conference room. Oh, and a microbrewery, a beer garden, tasting room, and a Yuengling museum. Get too hammered during your tour of the main brewery? Head next door to check in to drink more and then learn about the brewery's history.

A staycation destination dedicated to drinking sounds like a dream. Might just be a Disneyland for zythophiles. More details to come as the plan moves forward and possible construction begins.
