Hooters Management Corporation has additional locations coming to the region. Pasco and south Hillsborough will each land a new restaurant from the iconic chicken wing chain, which first opened in Clearwater in 1983.
South Hillsborough's outpost is set to premiere in the Big Bend/Riverview area next year. With a projected launch date of late 2019 or early 2020, the Pasco site is a free-standing restaurant planned for the Suncoast Crossing area on State Road 54 and the Suncoast Parkway.
What's more, Hooters wouldn't mind some help finding another location in the downtown Tampa area, as its lease at the former Channelside Bay Plaza will soon end. Sunday, Jan. 27, is the restaurant's last day at 615 Channelside Drive. Diners are encouraged to email their suggestions to [email protected]
"We look forward to finding the best location to serve our customers in Downtown Tampa," said CEO Neil Kiefer in statement. "We are very excited for the additional locations coming to both Pasco and South Hillsborough counties and appreciate the continued support of the Tampa Bay area for the past 36 years. We enjoy being a home grown restaurant concept in this community."
Celebrating its 36th anniversary this year, Hooters Management Corporation operates 25 locations in Tampa Bay, Chicago and New York.
