Time to add a new brunch joint to your list.
Italian restaurant Olivia (stylized "OLIVIA") has launched weekend brunch service (Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.), and the menu has the three sections: Sweet & Savory, Eggs & Folds and Crostinos (loaded toast).
One of the three Sweet & Savory dishes is an Italian toast with almond, fresh berries, pancetta and white chocolate ricotta crème. Other brunch plates include Maine lobster omelette and a zucchini frittata. Guests can also add two farm fresh eggs to any pizza. Salads, pasta and antipasto options are also on the menu. Prices range from $5-$22 before add-ons.
Earlier this month, Olivia—located located at 3601 W. Swann Ave. in South Tampa—earned 4 out of 5 stars in a Creative Loafing Tampa review where our food critic, Jon Palmer Claridge wrote that "chef Chris Ponte’s latest venture is an upscale Italian trattoria in South Tampa shows the care and thoughtfulness of a chef/entrepreneur/coach at the top of his game."
Might want to get a reservation because, as of right now, the restaurant is quite the hot spot.
