Owner, Greg "Spaddy" Spaddacini tells CL the partnership is a funny story (and pretty serendipitous). After eyeing the vacant space sitting at 6102 S. MacDill Ave. in South Tampa for nearly seven years on his commutes to play softball, it was Raw Smoothie Co. that made him want to make a move.
Upon congratulating the business on securing the spot earlier this year, Spaddy said he would be stopping in weekly after his games, which is when, he says, the opportunity for partnership arose. "We have similar styles and passion for the community and it became a great collaboration," Spadaccini told CL.
This Spaddy's location will serve the same menu when it comes to espresso drinks, teas, and Cuban toast alongside Raw Smoothie Co.'s menu of organic smoothies and acai bowls. Bowls come in three sizes (basic, packed, dank) ranging from $10.99-$13.99, allowing customers to choose their base, toppings and superfood add-ons. The new space offers bar and table seating for guests sliding by for a caffeine fix or organic sips.
The duo is slinging steaming (and iced) cups of joe alongside fruity creations open daily, 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends. Spaddy's Coffee Co. trailer is still operating in Seminole Heights at its regular hours.
